Amata Welcomes Governor Lemanu and His Team in DC
Washington, DC – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata was delighted to welcome Governor Lemanu P.S. Mauga, First Lady Ella Mauga, Department Directors and the Governor’s team from American Samoa.

Meeting in the American Samoa congressional office, they discussed a range of topics and legislation, such as renewal of the American Samoa Economic Development Credit and other issues of importance to the territory’s economy and future.
“It is a pleasure having Governor Lemanu, our First Lady, and other public servants from American Samoa in Washington for IGIA and other meetings,” said Congresswoman Amata. “We had productive conversations, and I will always put American Samoa’s needs and priorities first in our work with leaders in the U.S. Capitol.”
