She attended their University of Hawaii Army ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Theatre in Honolulu, and congratulated them in person.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is highlighting the remarkable 248-year history of the U.S. Marine Corps in dedicated service to the nation. The origins of the U.S. Marine Corps can be traced back to 1775, early in the history of the Revolutionary War, and its founding is commemorated annually on the 10th of November.
