This bill would authorize, modernize, and fund the public-private partnership of coastal observation systems collecting data to inform decision-making along our nation’s extensive coasts and in marine waters.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is delighted to announce that Alek Timuialatogo West of Vatia has been accepted for admittance to both the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis and the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He has accepted his first choice to attend the Naval Academy, with interest in being a Navy Psychiatrist.

On Tuesday, Congresswoman Amata and her staff in DC welcomed representatives from the American Samoa Department of Health as part of their visit to the U.S. Capitol, and a group from American Samoa Department of Homeland Security was able to come by for a visit later the same day.
