February 10, 2015

Washington D.C. -- Congresswoman Aumua Amata was appointed as the Chairman for the House Subcommittee on Health & Technology this week. "The Small Business Committee is blessed with the expertise, enthusiasm, and energy of both new and returning members who will lead our subcommittees in this Congress. I'm honored to work on behalf of working families, job creators, and innovators with these wonderful, dedicated colleagues," stated Chairman Chabot.

The Health & Technology Subcommittee addresses how healthcare policies may inhibit or promote economic growth and job creation by small businesses. In addition, the Subcommittee examines small business job growth through the creation and adoption of advanced technologies.

"I am honored that Chairman Chabot has imparted this great responsibility upon me and I look forward to working with my colleagues on the committee to make sure that we do everything we can to empower small businesses across the nation and the territories," said Amata.
