Amata Highlights Military Family Appreciation Month
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa'atali Amata is honoring Military Family Appreciation Month, and released the following statement:
"This Military Family Appreciation Month, we send our love and deep gratitude to the families of all who serve. Everyone in American Samoa has a right to feel healthy pride in our many friends and family serving the cause of freedom, represented in every branch of our all-volunteer U.S. Armed Forces. We have officers and enlisted, Reserves, those in Service Academies, and many Veterans. This November, we honor how our Service Members' families contribute to their honorable careers, and we recognize the sacrifices that families make, and the challenges they face, enduring long absences. Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, and most of our military families will be missing loved ones, but keeping them close in their prayers and thoughts. Thank you to each of you, and God bless our military families."
