Amata Highlights National First Responders Day
October 28, 2021
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa'atali Amata is highlighting National First Responders Day, and thanking First Responders everywhere and especially in American Samoa for the important work they do.
"In 2019, Congress officially designated National First Responders Day for October 28th," Amata said. "This day is a great reminder of all our first responders do for us, and how they help us have safer communities. Thank you to all these hardworking professionals. In times of emergency, first responders are in the front line going toward that crisis to help people, even if it involves personal danger. Even in places where that call is relatively rare, first responders train, prepare and stand ready. God bless our first responders!"
