Amata Highlights Teacher Appreciation Week

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is thanking teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, and for Teacher Appreciation Day (May 3).

“Thank you to all of our teachers, as you invest your time and energy into our young people. We know these are challenging times, but that you are persevering. Thank you for caring and all the preparation you put into classrooms and lessons,” said Congresswoman Amata. “Someday, a former student will be naming you among their inspirations and reasons for their success.”

“In a small economy like ours, I know that federal investment in education and facilities is always an important part, and I never forget those needs,” she said. “God bless your work and your students, and thank you, Teachers!”
