“Teaching is often a special lifelong calling. Every teacher has chosen a commendable path, and you are investing in the lives of our young people, yielding fruit for the entirety of their lives. Proverbs 22:6 emphasizes how important it is to start our children off well and in the right direction, so they will still be doing well in their older years, when they become the guides for future generations.

“The theme for National Teachers Day this year is ‘Empowering Educators: Strengthening Resilience, Building Sustainability.’ This is a timely theme, and I strongly support putting the most essential education resources first, strengthening the foundation of learning, by prioritizing our teachers and classrooms, then the facilities they need for resilience and sustainability.

“Thank you, Teachers, for your time and energy and ongoing study, as you show your caring through your classrooms. May God bless you, and your students through you!”
