Amata Honors Veterans on Veterans Day 2022
Pago Pago – In highlighting Veterans Day 2022, Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is honoring and sending appreciation to all the Veterans of American Samoa for their service.
“God bless each one of our Veterans on this Veterans Day, and a special thank you for all you mean to us here and throughout all of the United States,” said Aumua Amata. “Just this week, our nation and our territory exercised our freedoms to vote and choose leaders that represent us. We’re blessed with freedom, and our Veterans have served that important cause in times of war or in times of peace with strength.
“Our Veterans are known for providing important leadership throughout our communities and churches. They have served with honor all over the world, and our people have built a tradition of service that I often point out in Congress, while our many military families also make sacrifices and deserve honor.
“Finally, the country has a lasting commitment to our Veterans, so Congress and the VA must always work for better services and more health care options for our Veterans.”
