On Wednesday, by unanimous consent, the House passed S. 4116, a bipartisan bill extending access to PPP for the next five weeks. The Senate has also passed the bill, so it has been sent to President Trump to be signed into law.

"This program has been helpful to our local businesses, and provides access to capital," said Aumua Amata. "Many eligible businesses and nonprofits have already considered this program, but if any of our local employers needed more time, Congress is extending access to make sure you have this option."

This program is separate from the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) program, which is available through December 20, 2020.
