Aumua Amata Extends Congratulations to Lusia Cole

Annapolis, MD –Thursday, Congresswoman Aumua Amata wants to extend congratulations to Lusiaaveolelaeosomaiilematasaua Cole of Odenton, MD of who was sworn in as the student member of the Anne Arundel Board of Education. Anne Arundel County is the only county in the country that allows students who sit on the Board of Education to have full membership rights. Lusia, the daughter of Clara Cole of Leone Village, is active in the Washington, DC and Maryland Samoan community. Lusia is also involved with numerous charities, such as St. Jude's cause, Ruth's House, Sara's House, American Heart Association, and Wreaths Across America. In the fall, Lusia will begin a highly selective internship with the NSA. She hopes to attend the Naval Academy or the Air Force Academy once she graduates from High School.
