Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata visited U.S. Navy personnel in Finland last week and toured the USS Gunston Hall, as part of a Congressional Delegation that focused on veterans and military issues, and met with U.S. Ambassador to Finland Douglas Hickey and Finland Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto.

Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is welcoming the addition of the flag of American Samoa to the ring of flags surrounding the National Museum of American History, part of the Smithsonian Institution, along the National Mall in the nation’s capital.
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata was in London on Memorial Day for a special wreath laying at Cambridge American Cemetery, where many U.S. Service Members who fought in World War II are buried. The tour and ceremony at the Cemetery included a wreath on behalf of the U.S. Congress.
