Washington, D.C. – Monday, Congresswoman Aumua Amata, announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a Public Assistance (PA), Category F grant in the amount of $2,483,254.80 to the American Samoa Power Authority for Earthquake, Tsunami, and Flooding assistance stemming from the 2009 Earthquake / Tsunami. This grant is authorized under Section 406 of the Robert T. Stafford Act.
