Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is pleased to report to her constituents that she continues to rank among the most bipartisan Members of Congress, listed in the top 20 for last year, according to the new report released Tuesday by the nonpartisan Lugar Center at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy. Their analysis places her 19th out of the 441 Members of the House of Representatives, although they exclude a handful of Members for having served only a few months of the year.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata welcomed House passage Tuesday of S.497, the Senate companion bill to the House version she helped introduce, the American Fisheries Advisory Committee Act of 2021, H.R. 3128. In June, the bill was sponsored in the House by the late Congressman Don Young of Alaska, with Amata as the sole original cosponsor upon introduction, while the companion bill was sponsored by Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska).
