Washington, D.C. – Friday, Congresswoman Aumua Amata congratulated Lotoaoalii Joseph Toloa'i Ho Ching II upon his appointment as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA).
"This is a prestigious appointment and an important responsibility," said Aumua Amata. "Congratulations to Lotoaoalii upon taking on these duties in service to the country. American Samoa is always proud of our own as they achieve life and career milestones like this exceptional opportunity. His knowledge of this region of the world will benefit U.S. Army leadership."

Washington, D.C. – Thursday, Congresswoman Aumua Amata highlighted provisions in the Defense legislation passed by the House this week, including a measure she cosponsored, a welcome increase in pay for the Armed Forces, and a commitment to the Pacific region.
"I'm pleased to see momentum in both the House and Senate for a pay raise for those serving our country," said Aumua Amata. "This bill also reflects the importance of the U.S. commitment to the Pacific region."
