Washington, D.C. – House Veterans’ Affairs Committee (HVAC) Vice Chairman Uifa’atali Amataheard from groups of Veterans over several days and gave remarks at American Legion posts in several states. 

Congresswoman Amata heard from Veterans on the issues that are important to them, and highlighted some of the recent and ongoing work of the Committee under the leadership of Chairman Mike Bost, a veteran and congressman representing Illinois.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata testified Wednesday in the House Wasy and Means Committee for her bill, H.R. 399, which she introduced last week, to permanently renew the American Samoa Economic Development Credit, a tax extender long known as 30A based on the section of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) code.
