Washington, DC – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is congratulating the nation of Israel upon 75 years of independence, which Israel celebrates this spring, and lauding Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy’s upcoming speech to the Knesset. Israel’s celebration this year of Yom Ha'atzmaut, Day of Independence, begins the evening of April 25, as the date of the celebrations varies in April and May from year to year.


Washington, D.C. –Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata attended Wednesday’s historic meeting between Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, along with a bipartisan delegation of Members of Congress. Notably, the meeting was the first on American soil between the President of Taiwan and the Speaker of the House.
