Washington, D.C. – This week, Congresswoman Aumua Amata welcomes House passage of two legislative actions she cosponsored to strengthen the key diplomatic, economic and security relationship between the United States and Israel.

The House passed the bipartisan United States-Israel Cooperation Enhancement and Regional Security Act, H.R. 1837, which she cosponsored. This bill was introduced by Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL), who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics, and led a bipartisan Congressional Delegation to Israel and the region in early July.
