Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is commemorating this month’s World War II anniversaries for two of the great turning points of the global war – D-Day in Europe, and the Battle of Midway in the Pacific.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is honoring Samoa’s yearly celebration of their independence, and she appreciates being in Samoa on this special occasion.
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata is highlighting a federal funding notification from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) of about $4 million.
This discretionary grant of $3,961,917 for the American Samoa Department of Health is aimed at strengthening infrastructure, workforce, and related areas.
