Washington D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Aumua Amata was notified by the West Point Admissions Office that they are offering an appointment to Miss Taylor Va'alele Jessop to be a Member of the Class of 2019. Taylor is the daughter of Tricia and Douglas Jessop, Jr. of Gataivai and Faga'alu and a student at South Pacific Academy.
Washington D.C. -- Congresswoman Aumua Amata this week, joined 24 of her Congressional colleagues in sending a bi-partisan letter to the President regarding the request for an "open process" when declaring sites for a National Monument designation.
Washington D.C. -- Congresswoman Aumua Amata today, participated in the Pacific Basin Development Council's annual meeting. The mission of the council is to foster the socioeconomic development in the regions of American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam.
