Member’s Day allows House of Representatives Members the opportunity to voice their thoughts on the upcoming fiscal year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), including any legislation that they would like to be added to the bill.

The board met in Tafuna to review applications and interview the applicants competing for a nomination to one or more of the four service academies.

Washington, D.C. –Wednesday, Congresswoman Aumua Amata, attended a luncheon briefing that was hosted by the U.S. Navy League on Capitol Hill. The topic of the luncheon was the status of current worldwide United States Naval operations and the Navy's role in our national security.

"It is vital that we as Members of Congress are regularly briefed on the operations of our military in regards to our national security. We rely on these briefings to formulate sound policies that will help us better protect our nation," stated Amata.
